SatVu – Defence and Space Manufacturing

SatVu delivers some of the highest-resolution thermal imaging from space, supporting a safer and more sustainable future for the planet.

Using advanced satellite technology, the company captures detailed thermal images and short video clips that reveal heat patterns across the Earth’s surface at resolutions of up to 3.5 metres — both day and night. This level of detail unlocks a wide range of use cases, from economic activity tracking and national security to climate-focused applications such as monitoring urban heat and environmental change.

SatVu successfully launched its first satellite, HotSat-1, in June 2023, with additional satellites (HotSat-2 and HotSat-3) planned for launch in 2025. Together, these will form a constellation designed to provide global coverage, with revisit rates of 10–20 times per day.

The company represents a major advancement in Earth Observation (EO) sensor and data processing capabilities, setting a new benchmark for thermal imaging from space.
