The Role

We’re hiring a seasoned C++ Developer to join our Global Markets IT Risk team, supporting a mission-critical platform for the Corporate Bank (CB) business. This role is based in London, where you’ll act as a key technology contact for front-office teams and help ensure the stability and evolution of a global IT environment.

You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the globe, contributing to large-scale transformation and regulatory initiatives affecting global business units.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain front-office C++ applications supporting the CB desk.

  • Serve as a London-based liaison for the business, ensuring platform stability and addressing evolving requirements.

  • Support and contribute to major regulatory and digital transformation projects across business lines.

  • Collaborate with global teams to align IT solutions with evolving market and regulatory needs.


What We’re Looking For

  • 15+ years of experience in front-office IT roles, ideally within Corporate Banking (CB) desks.

  • Deep understanding of equity and commodity products.

  • Strong development skills in C++, with experience in WebLogic and SQL Server.

  • Solid exposure to Java and/or C#.

  • Hands-on experience with Jenkins, SonarQube, and Fortify.

  • Strong communicator with the ability to partner with traders, quant teams, and business analysts.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to understand and implement complex quantitative concepts.

  • Proactive, adaptable, and highly motivated to work in a front-office environment.
