Head of Technical Services – London
💰 Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 + excellent benefits
📍 Location: London (mostly on-site with occasional off-site work)
Hexwired Recruitment is working with a global leader in the entertainment industry, based in London, currently hiring a Head of Technical Services. This is a multifaceted role combining technical support, product documentation, and service management across a broad range of in-house products and live event collaborations.
You’ll act as a key liaison across departments, helping to ensure technical excellence and operational efficiency. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, responsibility, and working in a fast-paced, creative environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide hands-on technical support across a range of entertainment technologies

Manage and develop product and rental documentation

Oversee scheduling and coordination for technical services

Collaborate with event venues and technical teams

Ensure seamless communication and planning across live events and internal departments
Requirements:
✅ Experience in technical support or engineering (preferably in lighting, audio, or film equipment)
✅ Strong written and verbal communication skills
✅ Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
✅ Experience working with comms systems (e.g., radios, microphones)
✅ Comfortable coordinating with venue and event teams
