iOS Engineer

Location: London, UK (Hybrid)
Salary: £50,000 – £80,000 + equity

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Building and maintaining delightful iOS apps using Swift

  • Working across the full app lifecycle — from initial requirements through to App Store release

  • Rapidly iterating on ideas and wireframes, often across multiple product features

  • Collaborating within Agile teams (Scrum/Kanban) to ship updates frequently

  • Writing clean, testable code that follows SOLID principles and modern architecture

  • Continuously learning, experimenting, and helping shape a best-in-class mobile experience

Who You Are

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience developing production iOS apps in Swift

  • Confident working independently and collaboratively on complex features

  • Pragmatic, curious, and ready to get stuck in wherever you’re needed

  • Strong attention to detail, with a passion for code quality and elegant UX

  • Full of initiative and common sense — someone who gets things done with a start-up mindset

Bonus Skills

  • Experience with SwiftUI, UIKit, or both

  • Knowledge of WebSockets, Combine, or Realm

  • Familiarity with UI test automation, in-app purchases, or localisation

  • Enthusiastic about Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps
