IT Technician

Join ConnexAI as an IT Technician and play a vital role in supporting our internal IT infrastructure across global offices. Based at our Manchester HQ and reporting to the Global Head of Infrastructure, you’ll manage day-to-day IT operations, provide onboarding support, and resolve technical issues—ensuring smooth service and helping embed a culture of operational excellence.
What You’ll Do

Set up devices and install software for new starters using standard build processes

Maintain and update the internal asset register

Manage users and permissions through Active Directory and Group Policy

Monitor internal systems such as antivirus, WSUS, and third-party patching
-
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, liaising with vendors where necessary

Configure and support secure VPN access for remote teams

Set up and manage VLANs to maintain proper network segmentation

Support and maintain virtual environments

Act as an escalation point within the infrastructure team

Drive improvements in IT processes and champion best practices in reliability, security, and support
