Junior Java Developer – Listed Derivatives

About the Role
eClerx Markets is seeking a skilled and driven Junior Java Developer to support the development of large-scale, transactional systems for OTC derivatives clearing. You’ll work on integrating with global clearinghouses and middleware platforms while contributing to robust, scalable, and event-driven applications.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Java-based systems for complex post-trade workflows

Contribute to architecture of distributed, event-driven systems

Ensure performance in multi-threaded environments

Design effective test scenarios and contribute to CI/CD processes
What You’ll Need
-
Strong core Java skills, especially multi-threading and concurrency

Experience with Spring, Hibernate, SQL (Sybase/DB2), and Unix/Linux

Familiarity with messaging systems (IBM MQ, TIBCO)
-
Exposure to tools like Gradle and technologies like XML
-
Understanding of OTC Derivatives and clearing platforms (e.g. MarkitSERV, ICE Link)

Solid communication and cross-team collaboration skills
