Role Summary
Join the Cloud Productivity & Engineering (CPE) team as a Lead Platform Engineer, managing Azure cloud platform delivery to support LSEG’s digital transformation. You’ll split your time between leading the team and contributing hands-on to automation and platform development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of Azure engineers; run stand-ups and refine product roadmaps

  • Design and build scalable Azure cloud services and automation tools

  • Drive integration of CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and DevOps best practices

  • Collaborate with internal teams and Microsoft to optimize Azure usage

  • Manage platform governance, security, identity, and resilience

  • Enable application teams through a concierge-style support model

  • Maintain technical documentation and ensure operational excellence

Essential Skills

  • 5+ years’ experience in Azure cloud engineering and platform delivery

  • Expertise in Azure Landing Zones and Microsoft’s Cloud Adoption Framework

  • Hands-on with Terraform, Azure DevOps, GitLab, CI/CD pipelines

  • Background in Azure admin/dev or DevOps roles

  • Leadership experience in technical teams or Communities of Practice

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred

  • Experience with Windows/Linux server environments

  • Financial services background or familiarity with regulated industries

Education & Certifications

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or related STEM field

  • Relevant cloud and DevOps certifications preferred
