Role Summary
Join the Cloud Productivity & Engineering (CPE) team as a Lead Platform Engineer, managing Azure cloud platform delivery to support LSEG’s digital transformation. You’ll split your time between leading the team and contributing hands-on to automation and platform development.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of Azure engineers; run stand-ups and refine product roadmaps

Design and build scalable Azure cloud services and automation tools

Drive integration of CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and DevOps best practices

Collaborate with internal teams and Microsoft to optimize Azure usage
-
Manage platform governance, security, identity, and resilience
-
Enable application teams through a concierge-style support model
-
Maintain technical documentation and ensure operational excellence
Essential Skills
-
5+ years’ experience in Azure cloud engineering and platform delivery
-
Expertise in Azure Landing Zones and Microsoft’s Cloud Adoption Framework

Hands-on with Terraform, Azure DevOps, GitLab, CI/CD pipelines
-
Background in Azure admin/dev or DevOps roles
-
Leadership experience in technical teams or Communities of Practice

Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred

Experience with Windows/Linux server environments

Financial services background or familiarity with regulated industries
Education & Certifications

BS/MS in Computer Science or related STEM field

Relevant cloud and DevOps certifications preferred
