  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and analysts to translate data needs into technical solutions
  • Design, build, and deploy scalable data models for analytics, reporting, and personalisation
  • Develop and maintain ETL processes for production environments
  • Refactor and update pipelines in response to schema changes, upstream dependencies, or privacy requirements
  • Enhance and rebuild data visualisation dashboards in line with evolving standards
  • Identify data gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement through analysis
  • Communicate insights and technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Key skills and experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering or similar roles
  • Strong proficiency in Python for data processing and pipeline development
  • Advanced SQL skills, including optimisation for large and complex datasets
  • Experience with schema design and dimensional data modelling
  • Proven ability to build and maintain ETL pipelines (e.g. Airflow or similar tools)
  • Experience working with large-scale data environments
  • Familiarity with data visualisation tools such as Tableau
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain data insights clearly

Additional experience:

  • Familiarity with orchestration tools like Airflow or equivalent frameworks
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams across product, analytics, and marketing
  • Ability to work independently, managing and delivering backlog items effectively
  • Strong attention to detail when working with dashboards, reporting, and visualisation standards
