Senior Software Engineer job in London – Python/C++ – Inside IR35 – £650–£1200 per day – April Start
Hexwired Recruitment is working with a leading solutions provider in London that is looking to bring on multiple Senior Software Engineers with strong experience in C++ and/or Python to support major digital transformation initiatives.
This role sits within a high-profile government project in the national security sector, with an expected duration of at least 12 months. It offers the opportunity to contribute to impactful, large-scale programmes in a highly secure environment.
Due to the nature of the work, this position is fully onsite in London, and candidates must already hold active DV clearance.
Key Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related discipline
- At least 5 years’ experience working with C++ and/or Python
- Proven background delivering digital transformation projects
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern development practices
- Previous experience within Defence, National Infrastructure, or Government sectors
- Active DV clearance is mandatory
This opportunity falls inside IR35, with day rates ranging from £650 to £1200 depending on experience. The client is flexible on rate and is aiming for an April start.
