Solution Consultant job in London – DOEÂ
This Solution Consultant role sits within a high-performing consulting team, focused on delivering platform solutions, business transformation, and technical expertise to clients within the asset and wealth management space. The role combines consulting, analysis, and solution design, with a strong emphasis on client engagement, platform configuration, and delivering measurable business outcomes.
You’ll work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to define requirements, shape solutions, and ensure successful delivery across platform implementations. This is a client-facing role requiring strong communication, analytical thinking, and the ability to manage complex environments while driving results.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide subject matter expertise on platform capabilities, industry trends, and regulatory requirements
- Gather, define, and document customer business outcomes, translating them into clear solution designs
- Lead platform configuration and support delivery of Model Wealth Solution (MWS) implementations
- Design platform integrations and contribute to Target Operating Model (TOM) definition
- Support business transformation initiatives and provide consultancy services to clients
- Deliver customer training programmes and knowledge transfer sessions
- Collaborate with analysts and developers to ensure accurate handovers and successful delivery
- Conduct functional reviews, documentation walkthroughs, and defect verification
- Define business readiness processes and agree service level agreements (SLAs)
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members, promoting continuous improvement
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience within consulting, business analysis, or solution architecture environments
- Background in financial services, ideally within wealth management, investments, or pensions
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills
- Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships and operate in client-facing roles
- Experience documenting requirements and translating business needs into technical solutions
- Ability to take ownership of delivery outcomes in complex, fast-paced environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Experience
- Knowledge of platform-based solutions within financial services environments
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements within the relevant market
- Experience working on large-scale platform implementations or transformation programmes
- Familiarity with Target Operating Models (TOM) and business process design
- Experience supporting sales teams with solution design and project scoping
