Embedded Software Engineer job in London – £65K – £75K
Hexwired Recruitment has partnered with a rapidly growing electronics manufacturer in London to find an Embedded Software Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to join a business experiencing strong growth following recent investment and market success.
You’ll play a key role in developing a brand-new product, working across embedded systems and software architecture within a collaborative engineering team.
The Role
As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will contribute to the design, development, and architecture of embedded solutions, helping bring innovative products to market. The role offers a hybrid working model, with flexibility to work from home several days a week.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop embedded software for new and existing products
- Contribute to system architecture and embedded design decisions
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
- Support the development of IoT-connected devices
- Ensure software is robust, scalable, and optimised for performance
Key Skills & Experience
- Degree in Embedded Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
- 3+ years of commercial experience with Embedded C
- Strong experience in embedded system architecture and design
- Experience working with Modbus communication protocols
- Background in IoT or connected device development
